How Catalog Distribution Works

Automated scheduled catalog updates are driven on the supplier side. Suppliers use the companion Importify B2B Supplier Sync plugin and Importify web services to publish selected categories, brands, and tags.

• 20-Hour Refresh Cycle: Supplier catalogs refresh automatically every 20 hours to detect new items, stock changes, and price adjustments.
• Merchant Workflow: The merchant plugin retrieves refreshed supplier feeds, allowing store owners to browse new releases in Products, review active items in Imported Products, and reconcile stock/pricing in Supplier Catalog Reference.

External Services

This plugin relies on external HTTP endpoints to import products, process images, validate account status, and optionally provide AI SEO enhancements.

Important Note on AI: Built-in SEO metadata is generated entirely on your server from local product data. The plugin includes an optional, opt-in AI enhancement feature. No data is sent to AI providers unless you explicitly enter and test your own API key. Keys are stored locally in your WordPress database.

• Purpose: Serves and proxies high-resolution product images to offload local server bandwidth.
• Data Sent: Image URLs and standard HTTPS request headers.
