What is sent: your Waveleta API key (for authentication) and the requested endpoints and symbols or widget parameters. All requests are made server-side from your WordPress site; visitors’ browsers never contact the API and no personal visitor data is sent. When it is sent: when a widget renders and its cached data has expired (cache refresh), when you verify your key during setup or on the Connection screen, and when you click Test connection.
