#### Why Track AI Agents?

AI platforms are increasingly important traffic sources for organic growth, however

 2. Generate a unique Website ID
 3. Enter the Website ID in the plugin settings
 4. Enable tracking and you’re done!

### External Services

This plugin sends pageview data to the GPTrends API to track AI agent and bot visits
to your website.

**Service:** GPTrends API (https://api.gptrends.io)

**Data sent:** Page URL, user agent, referrer, IP address, and your Website ID

**When:** On each pageview when tracking is enabled (excludes admin pages and static
files)

## Instalación

#### Automatic Installation

 1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
 2. Go to Plugins > Add New
 3. Search for “GPTrends Agent Analytics”
 4. Click “Install Now” and then “Activate”

#### Manual Installation

 1. Download the plugin ZIP file
 2. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
 3. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
 4. Choose the ZIP file and click “Install Now”
 5. Activate the plugin

#### Configuration

 1. Go to Settings > GPTrends in your WordPress admin
 2. Check “Enable Tracking”
 3. Enter your Website ID from [gptrends.io](https://gptrends.io)
 4. Click “Save Changes”

Yes, you need a free account with GPTrends to generate a Website ID and view analytics.
